Exercise

Are you ready? Are you REALLY ready? Then put on your suits and join us in the pool for: aquacise (every weekday morning), aquafit (cardiovascular), deep water aerobics (tones and shapes), deep water bell exercise (great for arthritis sufferers), and lap swimming (for a serious workout). For non-water workouts there are dance, stretch, & aerobic exercise classes plus Yoga & T'ai Chi Chih. For you weight lifters and treadmillers, check out the Fitness Room.

Aquacise

Exercise gently in a water environment with 34 exercises for flexibility and strength. One-hour classes are held every weekday morning.

Aquafit

Water aerobics cardiovascular workout recommended for arthritis sufferers.

Aquatic Exercise

Vigorous aerobic water exercise.

Aerobic Dance

An aerobic class that is good for the heart and helps make exercising fun.  Lots of variety in music including aerobic tapes shown on the big screen. High energy. A full hour with no floor work.

Aquatic Open Air

Water aerobics cardiovascular workout recommended for arthritis sufferers.

Deep Water Aerobics

A fun, non-impact co-ed aerobic exercise that tones and shapes, using water resistance to increase the heart rate. It is a good class for beginners and a challenging class for the advanced exerciser.

Deep Water Exercise Advanced class using dumbbells and belts. Not for beginners!
Easy Stretch An easy half-hour stretch exercise class available every weekday. All levels welcome.
Fitness Room /Demonstration  Our new state of the art Fitness Room is complete with a large variety of cardio equipment, free weights, and weight machines that allow you to work on both the upper and lower body. Open 24 hours a day.
Lap Swim Lap swimming is sustained swimming exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes. During certain times of day the large pool is scheduled for lap swimmers only.
Qi Gong

Exercise that the Chinese do in the mornings in the park. Qi Gong exercises will relax and rejuvenate you.

Spirit Dance Learn choreographed Spirit Dance. Classes also include meditation, stretch, jazz dance basics and free-form dance.
Strength & Stretch A coed exercise class using straps or weights for resistance.  All muscle groups are addressed in the strengthening and stretching routine which includes a back and abdominal program
Yoga A system of exercises for attaining control and well-being of the mind and body.  Beginners/Gentle and Basic levels of Yoga are offered
