Voyager RV Resort Pickleball Board Charter 

 

The Voyager Pickleball Board Members  shall exist to assist Voyager RV Resort in providing a quality pickleball environment for the Voyager pickleball community. The Pickleball Board's actions and decisions shall be within the constraints allowed by Voyager RV Resort Activities Director.

 

The Voyager Pickleball Board  shall consist of 8 volunteers from the Voyager pickleball community and each shall serve for a four year term. There shall be a rotation of two members off the Board each year, with one member rotating off in 2008, and every fourth year there after. If in any year there are no volunteers, current members may serve additional years, one year at a time. No household/RV shall have more than one individual on the Board at the same time. Board members are expected to be in residence at the Voyager through the pickleball season - October 31 through April 1.

 

The Voyager Pickleball Board shall, during March of each year, elect a Pickleball Board Chairperson to serve for the following fiscal year (April through March). The Chairperson shall chair meetings, serve as the liaison/coordinator to the Voyager RV Resort, name other Pickleball Board members or Directors to serve on subcommittees as he/she determines necessary, and to provide other direction as agreed upon by the Chairperson and the balance of the Pickleball Board.

 

Decisions of the Pickleball Board shall be made by a quorum of at least four members of the Board.

ADDENDUM TO BE REMOVED WHEN IT NO LONGER APPLIES

The restriction disallowing more than one Board member per household/RV shall not apply to individuals currently holding membership.
